FAQ's - Diploma Program

Are my Art History courses taken at a different institution transferable?

No. The present requirement is that previous courses can only apply if they were taken at UBC (within the last five years) and were taken above and beyond what was utilized for your previous degree. Hence, even if you took a couple of Art History electives as an undergraduate at UBC, they will not count if they were used as part of the fulfillment of the 120 UBC courses needed to graduate, only if they were extra. Nor can you take summer (or other) courses at a different institution and apply them to the UBC Art History Diploma.
