Maureen P. Ryan


Maureen Ryan graduated with a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Chicago, 1987. Her areas of special interest include 18th and 19th century Europe and North America History and politics of culture issues around colonialism, national identity, gender and race.

Maureen Ryan is also a member of the 19th Century Studies Group at UBC, and has served as Chair from 2003-2007.
